Your world. More worth discovering.
Gistmax brings African voices, honest reviews, local discoveries, and community stories together. From neighbourhood finds to practical technology reviews, our focus is life across Africa. We help curious readers decide what is worth their time.
Real voices, reviewed before publication
Members can submit stories. An editor reviews each submission before it appears publicly. Approval is an editorial decision, not a guarantee that every opinion is shared by Gistmax.
Evidence before hype
Reviews should explain what was tried, when it was tried, what worked, and what did not. We distinguish firsthand experience from research and opinion. Contributors must own or have permission to use their words and images.
Clear commercial relationships
Paid placements must be labelled Sponsored. Reviews with commission-earning links must disclose that relationship near the recommendation. Payment does not buy a positive verdict.
